The Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks get the spotlight on Fox television on Saturday afternoon. Javier Vazquez gets the start for the Braves while Doug Davis takes the hill for Arizona. Vazquez is 4-4 on the season with a 3.80 ERA while Davis is 2-6 with a 3.77 ERA.

Vazquez has been up and down this season for the Braves, allowing five earned runs or more in three of his past six starts and two earned runs or less in the other three starts. The last time he faced Arizona he went seven innings and allowed just two earned runs in a no-decision.

Davis has pitched well this season but hasn’t been rewarded. He allowed just one run in his last start in seven innings against San Diego but the bullpen collapsed and he was denied a win.

The Diamondbacks have struggled this season in large part due to an anemic offense and the fact that Brandon Webb hasn’t pitched much. Webb is getting closer to returning though and he would be a welcome sight for the Diamondbacks. "He's inching back there, day-by-day," Arizona manager A.J. Hinch said, "Once we get him on the mound, we'll build his pitch count up, pitch him in a few [Minor League] games and hopefully we can activate him." Yusmeiro Petit, Bryan Augenstein and Billy Buckner have started in place of Webb this season. They have made nine starts and have a combined 6.80 ERA. Arizona is 2-7 in those games.

For the first time since 1983-84 the Stanley Cup Finals feature a rematch as the Detroit Red Wings face the Pittsburgh Penguins. Detroit will try and repeat their success of last season and become the first team to repeat since 1997-98. It will not be easy for Detroit since Pittsburgh looks superior to last year as Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have been dominant, combining for 26 goals and 30 assists in their 17 playoff games.

The Stanley Cup Finals could be high scoring with Detroit having the #1 offense in the NHL this season while the Penguins have the two leading scorers. The matchup in goal is the same as it was a year ago. Chris Osgood has better numbers in the playoffs than Marc-Andre Fleury but it is close.

There are two big keys for Detroit in this series. The first is their health. Niklas Lidstrom is expected to return for this series as is Pavel Datsyuk. The NHL is forcing the teams to play back-to-back games on Saturday and Sunday and that is not in the favor of Detroit. "We've got a short break, but hopefully we can manage to get some guys healthy, get guys back," said Wings goalie Chris Osgood.
Detroit will also have to find a way to contain Crosby and Malkin if they hope to win this series. "Crosby and Malkin are running away with the scoring lead in the playoffs and if we let them continue to run wild, it will be hard for us to win the series," Detroit General manager Ken Holland said, "You can't stop players that good, but we can't let them do what they did against Carolina."

The Cleveland Cavaliers are not done yet. The Cavaliers got a monster game out of LeBron James and won Game 5 at home against the Orlando Magic and now they will try and even the series on Saturday. James had 37 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists while Mo Williams added 24 points in Cleveland’s 112-102 win on Thursday.

The game on Saturday should be exciting as the Magic look to close out the Cavaliers. Cleveland is trying to become just the ninth team since 1947 to win a best-of-seven series after trailing 3-1. The game on Saturday will come down to Orlando’s ability to keep James under control, something they have rarely done. "The game is basically all LeBron, all the time," Van Gundy said. "If he gets in the paint, it's automatically a foul. One of the things we have to do, we can't keep putting him on the line 20 times a game. We have to find a way to stop that."

That could happen considering the Reds are 13-8 on the road this season. They will face Braden Looper on Friday. Looper is 4-3 with a 4.47 ERA this season for the Brewers.

Fox immediately came in on Wednesday and delivered a pinch hit RBI single. "He gives us a good bat coming off the bench, a power bat," Cubs manager Lou Piniella said. "We haven't had that. This gives us more firepower."

The Dodgers send Randy Wolf to the mound on Thursday. He is 2-1 with a 3.02 ERA this season. He is tied for the Major League lead with seven no-decisions this season.

Randy Wells gets the call for Chicago. He is 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA this season. Wells has done well in the rotation taking the place of Carlos Zambrano and now Rich Harden.

The Magic have already proven they can win on the road in the playoffs as they eliminated the Celtics in Game 7 in the last round and they nearly took both of the first two games in Cleveland in this series.

The Cavaliers are likely to be very inspired to extend the series on Thursday. Cleveland had the best home record in the NBA this season and it is unlikely that LeBron James will go quietly. The Nuggets were surprised at home in Game 3 as the Lakers won 103-97 to take a 2-1 series lead. It was the first loss at home in more than two months for Denver.

The Nuggets shot the ball poorly in Game 3 and shot way too many 3-pointers. "We'd go up seven, eight points and trying to get the building to erupt," Denver’s Kenyon Martin said. You've got to grind it out sometimes, take the tough two or get to the line and score points that way." The Nuggets left the Lakers in the game and Kobe Bryant took over late to win the game for Los Angeles. "I think we tried to hit too many home runs rather than just take a single here, a double here and win the game that way. We tried to hit too many bombs.”

The mistakes that the Nuggets made cost them home court advantage which they had gained by winning Game 2 in Los Angeles. Now they must win on Monday to have any kind of chance to win this series.
The Lakers realize they were fortunate to win on Saturday and know they must play better. "We've got to come out with more focus, more energy and really just execute a lot better in the defensive end of the floor," said Bryant.

The WSOP TEAM LEAGUE that was played on Poker Host was great for all to play in there was some great play and friendships were formed . Let start with saying congrats to Kamikaze Poker League on there win and there solid play . The event started with 19 teams trying to win the prize package to Las Vegas to play in the WSOP . When the first game started it was very fast paced and finished rather quickly and the race was on to see who could be the winning team . The Games where broadcasted on the On Tilt Radio which was a great thing for the whole game series and there team finished in fourth place in the final standings , congrats to them . Now with all the teams that played there was only one forum that had two teams in it Team Gwaaan and Team Gwaaan 2 both of which where playing against there own forum members and all of the other teams also . Team gwaaan after the first event were the top team and team gwaan2 was the bottom team , but after the first game that’s when the 8 game series really started to take shape . The people at POKER HOST had done a great job of putting all of this together in just a short time and making it a great place to play other players from all over the world . The games to follow just got better and POKER HOST did a radio broadcast and let the rest of the players know how much they put into getting it all put together . We also had some great individual play by some good players , like chiv gent from team gwaaan , omgmad from team gwaaan 2 , PrestoOTR from on tilt radio , and OGHowie282 from pocketfivers from bodonk , all of the teams had some good players on them . While these players did a great job for there teams they also should some good skills at the tables . There was also some good friends that where made from all of the forms that played , and now that the games are done with , the crossing over from forum to forum has stayed intact . There was some good rivalries brought out in the games also , team gwaaan against team Ray101bassman which is a whole another story , the battle between team gwaaan and team gwaaan 2 also had some good players trying to do better than the next player and the two team captains tubbs1 an ellsygwaan also had to battle for the bragging rights of the forum . There was several hands that where team 1 and team 2 with them athe only ones in the hand like tubbs1 against mrgatorman with gator holding K4 suited and tubbs holding pocket pairs and the flop came K 4 K and that was it gatorman won they hand with full house and tubbs with 2 pairs . There were many hands like that one team after the other team trying to out do the other and for the most part it was just about even with team 2 finishing the 8 games in 12 place and team 1 in 14 place . With all that said it was good for POKER HOST and for all the forums that had teams in it .
